I have to say when it comes to Southbank Brisbane, I have never been overly fussed with the restaurants on offer – nothing really stands out and the pricing seems a little over the top for what you get. So when my friend,  Melissa and I were wandering along trying to find a place to eat after the Regional Flavours event we were quite excited when we spied La Via on Little Stanley St.

Most of the restaurants on the strip were supporting the Regional flavours event by having Regional Flavours specials and if these were anything to go by La Via’s normal menu should be pretty nice for a casual meal.

It was huge and only $11.50 – the caramelised onion and gorgonzola really stood out and gave the pizza some punch.

It was the perfect lunch time serve and she found the duck perfectly cooked which was accompanied beautifully with the smooth Semolina.

We will definitely be going back to try their regular menu – the pricing was very good and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
